Job Description:

This position is geared toward a Java developer experienced in developing server side applications. Technologies include Oracle Middleware (Weblogic, Coherence), Java SE, EE, and open source frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).

Major Responsibilities:

Management and Development responsibilities include:

· Distributed caching technology such as Coherence

· Database modeling and structuring of SQL queries

· Core Design patterns, Enterprise integration patterns and messaging technologies such as JMS, MQ, FIX

· Understanding of transaction semantics

· Understanding of financial products is preferred

Required Qualifications:

- 6+ years with Java experience (SE, EE)

- 3+ years database experience – writing or dealing with data access layers

- 3+ year exposure to agile development software cycle (ie. test driven development, continuous integration)

- Strong architecture & design skills.
