QTP Tester w/ SAP SD

Location :Lake Forest, IL

Duration : 6+ Months

 

Required:

Seeking an Expert level Test Consultant to develop, execute and automate test cases in the SD Order Entry module of SAP.

Performing testing, executing test steps, writing and recording test cases, automation of test cases in QTP software

SD (Sales Order Entry) - enter sales orders into system, knows enough about SAP to troubleshoot when things don't know enough about the sales orders - need to be able to articulate standard sales order process

Experience with testing of Web Services - SAP specific web services, has tested API's or web services from other software (conceptually they are very similar) SOAP UI as test enabler software and also automation of web service testing

Experience with testing framework - use VB scripting to automate testing

Jivan: XML (good understanding bc Web Services are typically XML based) - Agile development methodology

Descriptive programming - enhance QTP (data driven and keyword driven)

Skill set least of: automation of testing with web services

Rate on 5 different criteria: relative test experience, technical test experience (descriptive programming, VB script, use of tools Quality Center QTP SOAPUI, communication skills, overall fit personality wise)

Technical Musts:                                                   

1. Must be an expert in ECC SD Order Entry processes

2 Must have expert knowledge of Quick Test Pro 11.0 test automation software

3. Executes functional, application and regression tests using Quality Center 11.0 and QTP

4. VB Script development in support of the QTP tool

5. Experience with automation of test scripts from a web-based front end into SAP

 Technical Pluses:

1. Knowledge of the Agile development methodology

2. Experience with SAP Web services

3. Experience with Service Test Pro software

4. Experience/understanding of XML

Other:

1. Perform Release Management activities

2. Coordinate Work Order/Transport Lists for team
