Job Title: Network Support (NOC)

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Duration: 6 Months Extendable

 

Required:

·         Excellent Documentation and Communication Skills
·         Candidate should have very good understanding on networking protocols and components of routing/switching
·         Able to perform the following task by referring to few KB articles (that requires very good basic networking knowledge)
 
LAN/WAN
·         Fault monitoring of LAN, WLAN and WAN Devices (Up-Down Status monitoring)
·         Performance monitoring of LAN, WLAN and WAN Devices
·         Fault and Performance monitoring report generation
·         Performing basic configurations for LAN and WAN Devices (Descriptions, Circuit IDs etc.)
·         Basic network troubleshooting (Port Errors, Duplex, Vlan, Link status etc.)
·         Troubleshoot IP addressing and host configuration
·         Perform WAN troubleshooting (Ping, Traceroute)
·         Configure IP Addresses to end user PCs
·         Updating the IP Address host table inventory
·         WAN link issues - Co-ordination efforts with vendor
 
Load Balancer
·         Fault monitoring of Load balancers (Up-Down Status monitoring)
·         Performance monitoring of Load balancers Devices
·         Fault and Performance monitoring report generation
·         Performing basic configurations for Load balancers
·         Basic Load balancer troubleshooting
·         Troubleshoot IP addressing and host configuration
·         Perform Load balancer troubleshooting (Ping, Traceroute etc.)
·         Configure IP Addresses to Load balancers
 
·         LAN switching/Spanning Tree issues
·         Configuring the Access switches and Branch routers
·         Features management of the switches (Ports, VLANs etc.)
·         Managing Traffic and Congestion
·         Perform initial configuration on a router/switch with hardening features
·         Wireless Controllers and Access Points Troubleshooting
·         Adding new devices to Fault/Performance monitoring tools
·         Management of Access Control Lists (ACL)
·         Managing Network Performance with QOS management
·         Maintain network maps and relevant documents updated on company network portal
·         Access rights (TACACS etc.)
·         Configuring the Load balancers
·         Configuration management & implementing approved changes
·         Provisioning VIP on a Load balancers
·         Managing Traffic and Congestion
·         Perform initial configuration on a of load balancer with hardening features
·         Adding new devices to Fault/Performance monitoring tools
·         Management of Access Control Lists (ACL)
 
·         Configuring the core switches and routers
·         MPLS/MPLS VPN configuration and management
·         Capacity Management – Providing recommendations and suggestions
·         Recovery from network breach
·         Recommendations for overall improvements by proactive network management
·         Designing and configuring optimum of load balancers
