Position: Senior Network Technician
Location: Baltimore, MD
Duration: 6+ Months

Duties and Reponsibility:

The Senior Network Technician will design manage, maintain and install the wireless/mobile computer systems in the police vehicles; design and manage the lights and sirens installs; and the license plate readers install design, install and maintenance.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Design wiring, Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot both hardware and software of mobile computers (including mounting devices)
• Design wiring, install,  set up, configure and repair automatic license plate readers
• Set up, configure, and repair in car video systems
• Configure, design and maintain emergency lights and sirens in vehicles
• Programming and installation of GPS or AVL in vehicles Manage Wireless/air card install and maintenance for mobile computers in vehicles.
• Vehicle Electrical System Training including diagnostics
• Vehicle accessory installation training and 7 years experience
• 9 years experience of Police Car Personal Computer wiring and install design; installation and; repair
• 7 years experience of in-car design, installation and repair of AVL systems
• Installation, wiring design and repair of automatic license plate reader (LPR) .
• MUST pass Baltimore Police Background Check
