Requirement List

Requirement Title   Sr. Hadoop Consultant ,  NYC, NY .  Skills Hadoop clusters, Hive, Hbase and Mapreduce, mySQL, BoKs/Keon, NDM configuration , MQ Description Position: Sr. Hadoop Consultant Location: NYC Duration -6 months+   Individual must be fluent and hands-on in at least the first 3 technologies listed below, if not more.   Hadoop: Individual must have experience with Hadoop clusters and  must demonstrate working knowledge of Hive, Hbase and Mapreduce. Individual must be able to resolve Hive issues, be able to provide support in HBASE and be able to run Mapreduce jobs. Familiarity with Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop will be a plus. Experience with name node load balancing, Hbase replication and Hive configurations with mySQL as a metastore will be a big plus.   Linux: Individual must have  a thorough understanding and hands-on experience in disk, network and system configurations and parameters. Individual must be able to work on multiple machines, bash scripting will be a plus. In addition individual must have a solid understanding of security and integration with LDAP. Familiarity with BoKs/Keon will be a plus.   Application Stack: Individual must have experience with Tomcat and apache deployments, some familiarity with JAVA will be a plus. Individual must have NDM configuration experience for upstream/downstream transmissions, NDM load balancing and clustering will be a plus, In addition familiarity with MQ will be necessary..   Monitoring: Individual must demonstrate ability to work with Ganglia and be able to use the tool to troubleshoot or analyze possible issues. Individual must have familiarity with Tivoli/Netcool, if the individual understands Splunk that will be a big plus.   Number of Openings :  1 ,  Experience :  8+ ,  Duration :  6+ Months   Respond to this requirement.
