Peoplesoft Finance Production Support Lead

Job DescriptionAs part of this effort, we require a Peoplesoft Finance lead
to support our applications while the rest of the organization is focused
on the SAP implementation. This resource will manage members of the
existing business systems analyst team as well as support contractors

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Takes a hands on approach with the team, must be able to
contribute to the day to day support requirements for following
applications:
o    Peoplesoft: General Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payables, Billing,
Accounts Receivables, Asset Management, Cash Management, Payroll Interface,
Absence Management, Time Card
o    Custom .Net/Perl Applications: Requisitions, Schedule of
Authorizations, Project Budgeting
·         Performs the following production support activities:
o    Manage L2 support requests
o    Manage request for key business users
o    Prioritize, manage escalations, ensure resources are properly assigned
to and servicing requests
o    Assist with troubleshooting, issue replication, application debugging
o    Manage month end processing tasks and procedures
·         Work with business teams to define project priorities which
require application design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support
(ex acquisitions, re-orgs, ??).
·         Ensure business analyst team is properly resourced and assigned
to support activities. Drive project management activities for
onsite/offshore employee and contractor resource.
·         Act as a liaison to the development and other functions within
the IT team on behalf of the Finance organization.
·         Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation
processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, testing,
documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Job Requirements·          Functional expert level experience with
PeopleSoft 9.0 Financial modules, working with a global implementation in a
fast paced and demanding environment
·          Requires a thorough understanding of Software Development Life
Cycle, Systems Engineering and Business Process Engineering concepts,
practices and processes.
·          Position requires a college degree, preferably a B.S. in
Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or a related field, or equivalent
experience in finance or system engineering.
·          Technical experience with PeopleTools including Application
Engine, PeopleCode Workflow, SQR, Query and Crystal reports with ability to
run and analyze trace files
·          Expert in MS SQL and MS Office productivity tools such as Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
·          Experience with SharePoint and Remedy (for trouble tickets) is a
plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
