I am currently seeking an experienced Data Architect with ETL, Erwin or PowerDesigner experience for an opportunity in Round Lake, IL (1 hour North of Chicago) with Baxter Healthcare for a 6+ month contract with the opportunity to go perm at the end of the contract period. Candidates must be US Citizens, Green Card or EAD holdersLet me know ASAP if you might have someone, or where you are running into issues if applicable.   Title: Data Architect      Location: Round Lake, IL Length: 6+ month contract     Job Description / Requirements:   Key Responsibilities:   Data Architect will work with other DA's to strategically design and implement data warehouses, data marts, and data stores, while ensuring high levels of data availability. This role will also be responsible for defining data standards and models for warehouse architectures and for creating and assisting others in creating end-user BI reporting solutions. Requirements for this position: -5+ years of experience -Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent combination of education and work experience - Experienced with either Erwin or Sybase Powerdesigner - Hands-on Data modeler/Enterprise data warehouse architecture design, and implementation - Kimball, Inmon and SQLBI design concepts and methodologies - Business Intelligence experience - OLAP cube and BI reports -Star Schema - Source to target data mapping -Self-Service BI processes and governance -Oracle MySql database development -Data Governance working groups and business process management workflow - ETL experience - Oracle drivers for MySql - E-Business database design - Data Marts - Traditional Data Warehouses - Large Historical/Archive Data Warehouses - Real Time Data Warehouses - Excel 2010 and Powerpivot - Agile project development and methods - Metadata management - Layered DW data architectures - Data quality and profiling tools - Master Data Management concepts and toolsets - Data quality methodologies and toolsets - Self-directed individuals who can work well in with other team members - Ability to translate conceptual ideas into solutions design - Excellent communications skills including being comfortable working with sr. executives as well as individual contributors - Ability to coach internal staff to transfer knowledge about solutions proposed - Knowledge Multiple, configurable data/index caches What you'll be doing: * Architect and Design data warehouses, data marts, and data stores * Define data standards and models * Create compelling self-service business intelligence solutions utilizing standard tools (Excel, PowerPivot, etc.) * Perform database capacity planning * Translate a logical model into a physical model and build related database structures * Design and build data movement that enforces business rules and meets the needs of business users * Work with data modeler, report developers and business analysts to meet information requirements * Document data movement architecture * Define, implement and execute ETL process * Define the schemas for the project * Defines the domains and reports * OLAP Data Warehouse development * Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data from Excel, Flat Files, Binary Files, MySql to the new database * Participate in performance tuning activities including partitioning strategies, indexing strategies, and SQL optimization       Thanks & Regards Sabitha Raj W (972) 550-9346 x 212|F (866) 405-9572 | E:--  sabitha@saxon-global.com Gtalk/ YIM:-- sabithaintsystech www.saxon-global.com |  1320 Greenway Dr, Ste 660 Irving TX-75038
