Title: Sr. Software Debug Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA

· Minimum 5 years experience

· Coding experience is mandatory

· WHCK knowledge is preferred but not must have. Ideally the candidate would have experience in debugging System WHCK failures KMDF/UMDF driver knowledge is mandatory

· Must have strong background in using WinDbg

Role:

· Capable of triaging system level issues across multiple components.

· System WHCK, interop tests, stress tests

· Very strong with WinDBG --> This is an absolute MUST KMDF/UMDF; WIN8/WIN7

· Comfortable with HW/FW/SW interactions

Title: Embedded Engineer/Developer

Location: Santa Clara, CA/Portland/Seattle

Job Description

· Design and implement systems software components and drivers for Windows 8.

· Proactively track and fix code defects in such components. Debug system failures, crashes and hangs using Windows kernel debugger.

· Measure and analyze performance of software components using variety of Windows platform tools, including Windows Performance toolkit.

· Perform quality analysis of software components using tools, such as static code analyzers, dynamic code verifiers, fault injectors and similar.

· A successful candidate must be able to work independently and have good communication skills.

· They must have solid software engineering skills and be able to understand, debug and modify kernel mode code written by others.

· Thorough understanding of Windows internals is a must.

· Understanding of hardware design is a definite plus.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 4 years experience developing drivers for Windows7 on x86 platform.

· Windows 8 experience is a plus.

· Thorough understanding of WDM and WDF. PnP and Power Management areas are especially important.

· Solid C/C++ coding skills. Solid kernel mode debugging skills and deep knowledge of WinDbg.

· Knowledge of low-Power bus (I2C, SPI, etc.) is a plus.

Title: WWAN Testing & Validation Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA

· Windows (especially Windows 8) driver development, integration, testing

· Communications (especially cellular) driver development, integration, testing

· Cellular Communications integration, testing, certification

· Other wireless software & testing experience

· Test automation experience for WWAN

Title: SW Validation Architect

Location: Portland, OR / Seattle WA

· Experience validating and debugging with SOC devices and software driver integration.

· Rich experience on Windows validation, expert on driver, OS and WHQL test

· Windows Kernel Mode Programming and debugging.

· Ability to use oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, and other high-speed test equipment.

· Ability to perform root cause analysis on hardware and software failures

· Experience with pre-silicon validation tools, models, simulators, and emulators

The following qualifications would be an added advantage:

· Familiarity with modern PC architecture and Client CPU/chipset and system set up and tear downs

· Passion of identifying and resolving problems, good debugging skills

· Experience designing, executing, and maintaining end to end automation solutions for complex software system or components

· Strong development skills in Powershell, C++, Python, and C# with experiences that directly apply to advanced test script development.
