Title: Non-Production Support & Release Engineer

Location: Durham, NC

Contract

Responsibilities	Provide Level1 and Level 2 operational support for non-production environment Investigate and Fix system generated alerts Monitor and fix batch cycle issues in non-production environment Investigate and Fix user raised incidents Escalate issues to development team if issues are beyond scope Coordinate database refresh with DBA’s and development team Coordinate environment setup with shared services team Understand existing build and deployment process Perform deployments in non-production environments Migrate the build to different environments Automation of build and deployment
Technical Skills	Demonstrated experience in supporting production or non-production environments for application built on technology components Java, Tomcat, Oracle, Informatica Should have strong working experience in UNIX , Shell Scripting, Oracle SQL, Informatica Should have experience in SCM tool preferably Clearcase or Github Scheduling tool working experience preferably Autosys Experience using and supporting any of these monitoring and alerting tools like Sitescope, Splunk, Dynatrace, Hyperic HQ Good to have deployment experience of web based applications on web server like Apache Tomcat Nice to have working experience of Jenkins or AnthillPro or udeploy
General Skills	Excellent communication skills Good co-ordination skills Multi task and being able to prioritize effectively Good in Troubleshooting support issues Nice to have support experience for waterfall and agile development projects Troubleshoot and resolve application deployment issues
