Location: Indianapolis,IN

Duration: 6 Months

Purpose of Position/Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting in the system enhancements, implementation, and maintenance in support of the asp.net applications with oracle backend, lead and coordinating with business intelligence architect in business intelligence project and other IT tasks assignment from Maternal & Child Health (MCH) program area.  The position is also responsible for ensuring the systems were modified to comply with any new state and federal requirements as needed and other IT duties as assigned.

Essential Duites/Responsabilités:

·         Thorough knowledge of information system design principles and new systems design techniques

·         Strong knowledge of relational database design and support

·         Experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

·         Experience developing and deploying state-wide applications

·         Ability to perform problem solving and analytical analysis

·         Thorough knowledge of both system and business applications and competent to work at the highest technical level and/or specialized area

·         Ability to manage multiple application development software projects or existing systems

·         Provide technical advice as required for system planning

 

Job Requirements:

The individual must be a good communicator with good listening skills, be able to work independently and under minimal direction.  The individual must be a self-starter and self-disciplined, and have advanced knowledge of the following:  .NET (ASP.net, VB.net, and C #), SQL Server, Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and SQL, Active Reports, Telerik and knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence is a plus.
