Job Title: Linux System Administrator (OEL)

Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Duration: 6 Months

 

 

This resource will have the following experience level and capability to provide the following activities

Experience: Minimum 6 years hands on experience with Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL).

Roles and Responsibilities – Capable of:

 

1. Installation of Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 and Oracle Enterprise Linux 6

2. Setting up drives, boot drives and Mount Points.

3. Setting up Kernel Parameters.

4. Troubleshooting of OS issues.

5. Networking

6. Adding host entries, IP address.

7. Opening ports.

8. Enabling telnet, ftp,scp,rcp, sendmail

9. Installing VNC Server.

10. Exception handling

11. Knowledge of Symantec Net Backup and restoration. - MUST
