US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Requirement for Healthcare QA Test Analyst

Job Title:Healthcare QA Test Analyst

Location:Albany, New York

Duration:6-12 month contract with opportunity for extension

Client is looking for experienced IT professionals who can work in a large team and technologies environment on a long term project.

 

Responsible for codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs. Analyzes, designs, and writes specifications for programs. Assists support personnel in locating and resolving problems of significance with programs.

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 3 years experience with testing application software in open systems environment, including conducting analysis, running queries, data setup and manipulation, understanding data mining, test script and case setup and execution, and documentation

Experienced testing in the following proposed software and hardware environment is highly desired:

 

Technical skills (Not all required):

Developer/Eclipse IDE

Testing Java SE, EE, JMS, JNDI, JUnit

Testing within Struts/Spring frameworks

Websphere App Server v 7.0

Websphere MQ

Scrum environment

Web services/SOA testing

Strong working knowledge in the following Rational tools is required:

Rational Quality Manager

Rational Team Concert (RTC)

Rational Functional Tester
