US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Requirement in OH

Hi All 

Please send me resumes for Sr SQL DBA.

Columbus, OH.  This is a 6 month contract and I can pay up to $58/hr

The prefer local candidates or within the tri-state area.

Job Title: Database Administrator

Description/Comment:Senior Database administrator supporting Microsoft SQL Server environment

Responsibilities include:
Database design, implementation, backup and recovery.
Identify and implement an innovative and cost effective SQL Server environment.
Develop staff; recommend training and development opportunities within database technologies.
Perform administrative tasks and create automation to reduce administrative tasks to support the highly available SQL Server database environments and project activities.
Prepare and communicate status, issues, and opportunities in support of steady state as well as project activities.

Technical skills required:
4 year degree in Information Systems or an equivalent combination of course work and job experience
5 to 7 years experience in database technologies
Experience with highly available (clustered) database environment including Geo/multi-site Clusters


Additional Job Details:Keep in mind they are looking for a senior SQL DBA = 5-7 yrs. experience.
