Senior SAP FICO Architect with BW experience in Insurance Industry (6+ years)
Responsible for performing analysis of business process requirements and providing the appropriate system solution. Performs impact analysis of proposed changes to data structures on code block and system solution; reviews existing implementations and identifies opportunities to rationalize design solutions, adopt new functionality, optimize systems performance and ease of use. Conducts current-state and future-state workshops Identifies, interprets, validates and documents customer requirements.
Prepares comprehensive technical documentation including specifications, test conditions and test data. Designs, customizes and tests the application functions and security roles. Partners with peers when integrating functionalities across applications and/or modules. Ability to perform all facets of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Required: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Information Systems, or equivalent experience and 6+ years experience designing and implementing R/3, ECC 5.0 or ECC 6.0. Participated in 3 or more R/3 or ECC major system implementations or upgrades.
Demonstrated expertise of the General Accounting and/or Purchase to Pay business processes. Proficiency required in 3 or more of the following FICO functions: Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or In-House Cash. Experience in BI and BPC.
Must have experience with ECC New Ledger functionality; and min. of 3 years of FI/CO Architecture/solution design experience with a major Insurance company. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
