Position Summary:
a .Net Specialist to work on client projects for prominent Hedge Fund(s).
Job Description:
The position will involve providing daily technology support to various user groups within the fund. The role will involve interaction with users (traders, operations team etc), creating new applications, as well as supporting existing applications, bug fixes etc.
Responsibilities:
• End to end development of new applications
• Support and enhance existing applications
• Respond to users' queries
• All other duties as assigned
Key Skills:
• Mandatory
o Projects in Financial services domain
o Experience in application development using C#.NET (windows and web)
o Expertise in writing SQL Query
o Some Experience on SSIS or SSRS
o Excellent communication skills; including written and oral. The ability to communicate with users in comprehensible terms is crucial
o Good attitude and willingness to learn and be positive
• Preferred
o Prior Experience with hedge fund
o Expertise in SSIS/SSRS/MOSS
o Knowledge of systems such as: Geneva, VPM, Charles River, Eze Castle, Risk Metrics, Fund Administrator Platforms
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in .NET development
• Team Player and Individual Contributor
