Description:		Embedded SW Engineer  As an embedded applications software engineer at Bose, you will help to develop next generation wireless audio products on embedded Linux OS with C++ programing language.  We are looking for an engineer who can come up to speed quickly and works well with a small agile team in a fast paced environment.   The preferred candidate should have developed an embedded Linux product with built-in Internet radio clients like Pandora, vTuner, iHeartRadio etc. in C/C++ and has working experience with UPnP/DLNA media render, control point and server. Skills / Experience ·         10+ years working experience programming on embedded Linux systems with C++ ·         C++ and OOD are required expertise ·         Good embedded operation system understanding of thread, priority, semaphore, memory management, message queue and IPC (inter process communication) etc. ·         Experienced working on embedded Linux operating systems with multithreaded and multi-process network application ·         Design, implement and debugC++ software on embedded Linux OS for TCP/IP network audio devices ·         Take a user interface specification and turn it into a software design and implementation ·         TCP/IP Sockets, Http, LibCurl, HTTP Client / Server, XML ·         Strong debug skills on Linux platform ·         DirectFB graphics interface ·         gdbcross platform debugging ·         Excellent team worker. ·         Pandora, vTuner, Spotify, iHeartRadio client software development experience is a plus ·         Experience with UPnP, DLNA is a strong plus ·         Knowledge and experience in network time synchronization is a plus. ·         Linux boot process optimization knowledge is a plus Education: MS Computer Science preferred BS computer science or BS Electrical Engineering is required
