Skills Required and Job Description:
Responsibilities - Work with project teams to plan solutions and assess impacts, design considerations, performance, security, localization requirements and approvals of Nike mobile consumer applications - Define standards and practices for our Mobile ecosystem - Assist with mobile software architecture decisions (iOS, Android, WP7, Web) and building a shared library of code and services - Assure that solutions adhere to Nike mobile development guidelines and quality standards - Mentor and coach cross-functional teams on best-of-breed mobile development practices - Support Project Managers, QA and Release Managers to drive consistent, predictable and quality mobile application releases Qualifications - Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field - 5-8 years business, IT, or related experience (Android and iOS mobile software development highly preferred) - 3-5 years leading enterprise, business or solutions architecture teams (experience with offshore and partner development highly preferred) - Demonstratable experience in developing and releasing iOS and/or Android applications into the marketplace (App Store or Google Play) - Understanding and experience with technology and architecture practices and standards - Ability to deal with changing priorities - Ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders, developers and architects - Strong organizational skills (multi-tasking) and a self-motivator - Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills - Ability to communicate technical information to and influence a wide and varied audience, including; architects, engineers, business partners and executives - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and coach teams in technical solutions - Experience working with third party teams to develop and deliver solutions - Experience working with the Agile methodology |
