Skills Required and Job Description:
Client is looking for a Developer with a strong UI background in developing with JavaScript, CSS and HTML
in addition to any experience or knowledge with the latest UI development tools (LESS, Modernizer, Bootstrap, BoilerPlate, etc.).
Description:
8-10 years of developing and delivering customer facing web or mobile experiences
Strong track record of delivering results to the business
Experience leading a technical team, and providing work plans, coaching, mentoring, development, recognition and performance evaluation in building and supporting high-profile, highly interactive, extremely fast customer-facing web and mobile applications.
Integrated well-designed front-end architectures with template frameworks and complex back-end data and content management systems.
Collaborated with business partners to envision products and worked side-by-side with team members in design and engineering to deliver them in highly scalable ways.
Experience articulating and illustrate proposed solutions as well future technical direction. Experience
Strong command of essential front-end web technologies including HTML5, CSS, AJAX, DOM Scripting, and W3C DOM methods and properties
Extensive experience working with CSS frameworks (like Twitter/Bootstrap, 960gs ) and responsive design libraries
Solid experience in building site architecture and templates from the ground up
Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions, as well accessibility and SEO considerations
Extensive work with JavaScript and JS Frameworks (like JQuery, DoJo); and work with JS micro frameworks
Strong technical knowledge and skills in object-oriented design as applied to user interface development including software design patterns, MVC architecture, and deployment architectures
Deep knowledge of web UI architecture and presentation layer technologies such as Jquery, JSP, XHTML, and Freemarker template language.
Strong understanding and experience with data manipulation technologies such as web services, REST, JSON, XSD, and XML
Experience with developing for mobile form factors and/or progressive enhancement techniques
Experience with source control management tools such as SVN, or CVS
Experience working with SQL databases desirable(Oracle knowledge is preferred)
Knowledge of web security techniques and best practices
Technology implementation experience in a Java environment
Experience in driving technical standards and architectural vision
Strong ability to translate requirements into quick prototypes for interative user feedback
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and group presentations)
Ability to scope projects, provide accurate work estimates, and lead multiple simultaneous projects |
