Job Title	:     :	Cognos senior consultant
Relevant Experience (Yrs)	:	9-10 years
Technical/Functional Skills	:	Good understanding of development processes in Data Warehousing. Excellent knowledge of Data Modeling, SQL and Stored procedures. Good knowledge of reporting tools (Crystal Reports, Cognos). Knowledge of ETL tools (Datastage) / scripting tools (Unix shell scripting, Perl) desired. Netezza experience is a big plus.
Experience Required	:	Experienced in      Scope definition by working with the business users.      Data Modeling, defining usage patterns and implementation of security model in Cognos/Netezza.      Develop ETL scripts to process data.      Develop BI reports in Cognos.
Roles & Responsibilities	:	Define scope and strategy for building the BI reports. Design and implement the required Data models and ETL transformations. Develop BI reports in Cognos.
Generic Managerial Skills	:	Excellent written and oral communication skills Interact with client managers on a daily basis and provide overall status of the application health
Education	:	Bachelors
Work Location   Duration	:   :	Kent, WA   8-10 months
