Need Datastage Developer - Location - Detroit, MI

Relevant Experience (Yrs) -   5 to 6 yrs

Technical/Functional Skills

The selected candidate must have expertise in data warehouse full life cycle approaches and concepts using DW best practices and procedures.

He/she must be proficient using the DataStage ETL tool and in addition have technical expertise with Unix scripting and various Oracle tools (SQL, SQL*Loader, etc.).

Expertise with DataStage, QualityStage.

 

Total Experience Required -   6 years

Roles & Responsibilities

-           Participate in a project team to design, develop and support new Data Warehouse datastores

-          Analyze business requirements, developing target-source data mappings and delivering ETL processes for end-user OLAP and reporting initiatives

-          Set-up and maintain load processes for Data Warehouse development, test, and modal environments

-          Manage the developing control processes for the migration of code through Development, Test, and Production environments

-          Designing/developing processes to automate, streamline, and monitor Data Warehouse load processes
