Job Description: READ THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION COMPLETELY. THIS REQ. REQUIRES A VERY SPECIALIZED SKILL WITH BusinessObjects Enterprise: Must have minimum 2-4 years' experience. IF CANDIDATE DOES NOT HAVE THIS SPECIFIC SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE DO NOT SUBMIT. This is a software engineering position that is projected to be needed on the Royal Mail MEARS program, contingent on contract award. The assignment will involve the design, development, testing, and documentation of Business Objects Universes, Web Intelligence Reports, and production of a BusinessObjects Enterprise BI platform. Specific tasks will vary based on assignments to be made by the project lead in the future. Candidate must have expertise in the required skills and abilities described below. Overtime work (including weekends and potentially holidays) is not anticipated but may be required at times, based on the needs of the program. Travel to the United Kingdom is not anticipated, but could be required at some point during the assignment.
Skills/Experience: Required Expertise with BusinessObjects Enterprise: Must have minimum 2-4 years' experience in design and development of Business Objects Universe and Web Intelligence (WebI) Reports, with significant experience in development, maintenance, integration, and production of a BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE) BI platform. Secondary skills: Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, Crystal reports development, Java programming, AIX and Windows 2008 operating systems. Must possess an active passport.
