Description :
QA Analyst:
A. Designs and executes manual and automated tests to ensure proper operation and performance of software applications.
*Designs, develops and implements QA test plans and test cases for new and enhanced software releases.
*Performs all aspects of verification, including functional, structural, regression, load, system testing and user acceptance testing with the user.
*Documents test results and logs errors; recreates them as needed, tracks errors through to resolution and escalates issues when appropriate.
*Writes SQL scripts and utilizes testing tools to utmost capability
*Ensures continuous improvement of the testing process by analyzing how production problems were missed in testing and subsequently correcting the testing process.
B. Additional responsibilities:
*Participates in requirements and user training
*Performs requirements analysis to develop or modify moderately complex software applications. Documents to standards the functional requirements, use cases and any other requirements documents, process flows and screen prints.
