Position : Classic ASP developer
Location : Virginia Beach, VA
Duration : 6 Months
Required Technical Skills
-Classic ASP (bonus any .net)
- SQL 2005 or 2008
- some light SQL Administration (maintain own tables)
- 3 years recent and contiguous ASP programming and SQL Server database development skills
- HTML and Javascript programming/Scripting
- Programming with Cascading Style sheets a must
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide new development to create a new Web-based interface system to their existing ERP "STORIS" system. The system has been designed and needs to be developed, installed and maintained.
- Additional Systems will be designed and developed. This COULD result in a contract to hire. Long term consulting is okay as well!
Position Qualifications:
· Ability to code websites and design and develop style sheets, page layouts, digitized images, rich media, and other design elements to enhance appearance of site
· Ability to assemble instructional media and content in the form of static images, video files, audio files, animations, and storyboards
· Ability to create, execute and document tests to ensure an application meets user requirements and specifications
· Strong knowledge of ASP; intermediate or better SQL Server Programming skills
· Strong desire and ability to work creatively and analytically with an attention to detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be able to work cooperatively as a member of a team as well as independently with self direction
