Strong design, ESQL development and problem resolution skills.
Experience with JDBC, ODBC, WSDL, Web Services, XML, XSD & XSLT
WebSphere Message Broker best practices (Designing Message Flows, Development, performance, etc.)
Experience with WMQ (Configuration, Messaging, and clustering)
Experience with different Message formats (MRM, CSV, COBOL, TDS..etc) and Message exchange patterns
 
Good to have:
Performance tuning
RESTful and other JMS (Active MQ) integration experience

Job Description
•The Websphere Message Broker technical lead  will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, documenting, implementation and maintenance of message flows for various applications using IBM Websphere MQ and Message Broker platform.  They will work with other architects, developers and operations to determine the needs of the applications and the best solution for the environment.  The candidate must be able to manage system and application architecture design, provide design recommendations and alternate options based on functional/performance requirements and guide and manage the progress of development/programming tasks with medium to high level of complexity.
•The candidate should have done the below
         
•Strong knowledge of Java technology stacks and hands-on experience of integrating applications and data across diversified technologies
•Design and documentation Software Requirements Document & Design documents.
•Interacting with the client to obtain the requirements, analyzing the requirements, preparing the specifications, designing the modules and tasks for the team members.
•Distributed information across and between multiple diverse systems and applications using Message Broker and provided delivery of the right information in the right format at the right time.
•Reduced point-to-point interconnections by using Message Broker and simplified application programming through separation of integration logic from the applications and from process logic.
•Wrote technical design document (TDD)
•Worked with HTTP Request node to send SOAP request to Web services
•Worked with HTTPInput node to receive Web service requests for processing by a message flow
•Worked with HTTPReply node to return a response from the message flow to the Web service client
•Worked with Soap Node node to return a response from the message flow to the Web service client
•Worked extensively in transforming csv (comma separated value) message in to XML, XML to csv.
•Worked with adapters to put and get messages from the queue.
•Designed and implemented SOA/integration solutions
•Worked with various IBM primitive nodes and ESQL for message routing and transformations
•Designing and Developing message sets, maps, message flows, and configure/develop adaptors
•Developing components in java
•Developed common java functions to be used across interfaces
