We have an Urgent Direct Client Requirement on Web application tester
12+ months and located in Columbia, MD.
Support a web based application that is developed on J2EE Platform and a Commercial off the shelf product. The successful candidate will be required to analyze, create test cases and test plan to test a web based application or a component of the application as per the stated requirement. The candidate will be required to support System and Regression testing and fix any defects identified during testing. The candidate will be expected to familiarize the COTS product and provide customization support as requested by the customer. The candidate will be required to provide documentation support including documentation of test plan, functional and regression test cases, performance and stress testing test plan, 508 testing.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of software development industry standards, software test methodologies, software requirement generation and maintenance
· Experience writing test plans, executing test procedures, regression testing, performance testing, back-end testing, white box testing, functional testing, smoke testing, etc.
· Automation experience with Selenium
· Web Application vulnerability testing experience
· Knowledge of tools used for the penetration testing of web applications such as Burp Suite , WebScarab , or Paros.
· Knowledge of Java is a plus
· Create various testing documentation, including test cases, reports, test scenarios, etc.
· Able to execute test cases manually
· SQL query writing skills
· Perform data analysis to build statistical and detailed reports
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Well organized and efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
· Experience working in the CMMI environment,
· Good knowledge of different phases of test lifecycle
· Healthcare experience a plus
· Knowledge of LDAP
· Knowledge of IDM Applications
· Identity management, working with Oracle Identity Manager
· Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and test on open source tools.
