US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Direct Client Req - Senior Database Administrator / Southlake, TX

We are looking for Senior Database Administrator for one of our client at Southlake, TX. Please let me know your interest.

 

Senior Database Administrator

Location: Southlake, TX

Duration: 6 Months+

 

Client is doing upgrade from MS-SQL to Oracle- any experience in both database (but strong one) is good.

 

Also should focus on:

·         Design and development of schema

·         Reporting

·         ETL

·         SQL query tuning

·         Data Molding

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years related experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Database Design: Working knowledge of security, system monitoring, tuning, physical database maintenance, back-up recover procedures, upgrades, logical and physical design of database
• Database Management: Working knowledge of database security, system monitoring, tuning, physical database maintenance, back-up and recovery procedures and upgrades
•  Documentation: Enters, transcribes, records, stores or maintains information in written or electronic form
• Operations Analysis: Analyzes needs and product requirements to create a design
• Test Engineering: Creates, executes, and documents the tests necessary to assure that an application or technical environment meets user functional and performance requirements. May also included automation test tools .
