LOCATION: Hartford ,CT
DURATION: 6+ months  Project Based Hourly Worker

About the Opportunity

One of our larger clients is looking for a Network Infrastructure Consultant with strong experience in supporting a Cisco firewall environment. The successful candidate will be a member of a team supporting the corporate firewall and DNS infrastructure, responding to service requests and incidents as required and participating with team members in other activities. Our consultant will be a part of the overall support team, and draw upon experience from the team for support as needed.

Responsibilities

The main requirement is to provide implementation, configuration and production support activities for Cisco data network environment with a primary focus around firewall support and engineering.

Required Skills

·  5 or more years experience supporting Cisco based LAN & WANs in large enterprise environments.

·  Solid experience configuring and supporting Cisco ASA firewalls is critical.

·  Experience with Sidewinder firewalls is a plus.

·  Experience supporting Cisco and Pix routers, B-to-B VPNs, IPsec, and related security technologies is very helpful

·  Good verbal and written documentation skills

·  Must be a good self-starter and able to balance multiple concurrent activities

·  Experience coordinating network changes using change control management tools and processes.

·  Ablity to collaborate and work on a team
