Title: UI/ UX Developer (Lead Position)

Location: Burlington, MA

Duration: 1 + Years

 

Job Description:

Essential Functions

Contribute as a UX designer as well orchestrate internal design and development resources

Collaborate with project management within an agile development methodology

Analyze requirements and ensure they are translated visually and functionally to the UI design, interactive structure and overall usability of our products

Develop and design conceptual diagrams, design documentation, visual mockups, wireframes, and functional prototypes

Gain feedback from and collaborate with external users on designs, usability and continued ideas for improvement

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher preferred

3+ years (6-10 years overall business experience) in a lead UI/UX role

5+ years financial services industry experience.  Insurance domain expertise preferred.

Strong RDBMS skills, with a preference for an Oracle background.

Preference for Oracle ADF or JSF experience.

Experience designing for web-based applications: working with multiple user states, dynamic content, and an ever-evolving product

Experience with agile methodologies and user-centered design principles

Ability to design simple, usable experiences that scale across a complex suite of products

Self-starter with the ability to drive projects from inception to completion

Excellent project management skills, including a demonstrated ability to lead and manage design, develop, and QA resources in support of business objectives

Excels in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment
