Position Title:  Ab initio Developer.

Location: Jersey City, NJ                                  

Duration: 3+ Months

Rate: DOE

 

Job Description:

·         He/she should have at least 6 years of industry experience. ·         Should have completed at least 4 ETL or Data warehousing projects using Ab Initio ETL tool, in a Developer or Senior Developer Role.  ·         Proficient in design and development of Ab Initio ETL graphs and plans and should have experience in the complete SDLC (from requirements to implementation). ·         Expertise in Conduct>It (to create Plans) and should have experience in implementing complex Plans. ·         Expertise in creation of generic frameworks in Ab Initio. ·         Proficient in Unix Shell scripting and should be able to write Functions and Scripts. ·         Should have basic database knowledge (Oracle preferable) and should know basic SQL and PL/SQL. ·         Excellent communication skills and experience working with offshore technical teams. Should have experience as an Onsite Co-ordinator. ·         Excellent customer interfacing and consultancy skills ·         Pro Active, Self Driven, Excellent communication and Presentation skills.

·         Collect Technical requirements from the business or functional requirement specification documents ·         Design and Develop the generic framework or ETL graphs and plans for an ETL project ·         Prepare Technical Design documents ·         Recommend end to end technical solutions ·         Work with the on-site and off-shore teams, client and business stakeholders for project requirement, reporting and application development and delivery.
