  SCOPE:

 

  For the planning phase, the Archiving segment should encompass the

following:

 

  Using the Corning Optim licensed templates

 

  1.  Define the templates to use

 

  2.  Define with Corning input, what parameters to use

 

  3.  Define the procedure to run the archive process

 

  4.  Perform a test archive and delete process

 

  5.  Perform a recovery of the deleted data to validate the success of

restore

 

  6.  Document the proposed procedure for full-blown execution

 

  7.  Estimate the reduction in database size following the archive and

delete

 

  Basically we would be doing a proof-of-concept for the proposed

archive/delete/restore approach to be executed in the execution phase.
