Interview Mode- Telephonic Followed by F2F Required Skills - Strong Web Development experience with Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, Classic ASP, C#).
- Strong Database Development experience with SQL Server 2005 and above. Including writing Advance SQL, Triggers, Stored Procedures, and optimizing Databases for performance.
- Solid professional experience developing consumer facing ecommerce websites.
- Solid Web Configuration experience with IIS (version 7 or later).
- Proficient with Source Control Tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Visual Source Safe (VSS).
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented concepts.
Desired Qualifications - Professional experience with VB.NET, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), JavaScript, XML, Content Management Systems (CMS), and Data Migration.
- Required “Soft” Qualifications
- Excellent Communication, Collaboration, and Consultative skills with strong experience gathering requirements from and advising non-technical internal customers.
- Strong ability to understand business requirements and translate them to technical specification documents.
- Passion for business with a strong desire and plan to learn Stroll’s business objectives, operations, and how departments interact and participate in share goals and processes.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Capability to quickly learn, adopt and apply new technologies.
- Strong Time Management with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Job Responsibilities: - Participate in XP (Extreme Programming) weekly Iteration and daily Stand-up meetings to communicate progress, clarify specifications, and voice or address concerns.
- Research and assess time requirements and implementation options for proposed projects, tasks and activities.
- Implement project work on an individual or paired programming basis.
- Communicate with internal clients including Upper Management, Marketing, Analytics, Call Center, Fulfillment, and Finance Departments to understand the background, flexibility, and desired outcome of their requirements and to provide feedback on feasibility.
- Deploy approved code to the production environment.
- Assist in the search for new and better technologies.
- Test the code against the requirements.
- Assist the IT team designing automated QA tests processes
