Role :QA Architect and Lead

Location: Bentonville, AR

Duration: 6mths+ (extendable to 1yr+)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Conduct IT quality assessments on Client customers that are very large corporations (Fortune 500 scale).

·         Provide thought leadership and on-the-ground guidance to customers for implementing quality improvement programs in IT.

·         Provide consulting and mentoring to project teams on quality assurance (QA), quality control and quality improvement activities.

·         Participate in the development of competitive strategies and plans for Client quality services.

·          

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

·         We are looking for a seasoned QA professional with relevant experience of 15 years or more in IT.

·         Experience developing cloud based testing strategies is required. This includes familiarity and understanding with designing a cloud based test environment.

·         Experience with capacity planning activities to ensure future system growth is accounted for is strongly desirable.

·         In-depth knowledge of the principles, techniques and tools used for IT quality assessments and audits, strategy development for quality improvement, and effort and cost estimation for testing and other quality management activities.

·         Experience in assessing and leading major quality improvement initiatives in very large companies.

·         Knowledge of at least one quality standard such as ISO 9000, or alternatively a software engineering maturity model such as CMMI.

·         Knowledge of quality and analytical tools such as cause-effect analysis, control charts, Pareto, SWOT and SIPOC.

·         Knowledge of Six Sigma is highly desirable but not essential.

·         In-depth knowledge of organizational and operational aspects of quality management.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills; in particular, presentation and technical writing skills.

·         Experience setting up and managing large and complex testing engagements with 50 or more testers for Fortune 500 or similar scale corporations.

·         Knowledge and experience in common software development lifecycles.

·         Knowledge of the principles and methods of project management.

·         Knowledge of the fundamentals of common IT system architectures and platforms.

·         Knowledge of test automation principles and approaches to an adequate depth to provide overall design guidance for the development of test automation solutions is highly desirable but not essential.

·         Excellent facilitation, negotiation and organizational skills.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills. In particular, ability to function effectively in multicultural environments and with distributed teams.
