Informatica Power Center Developer

Madison, WI

6months+

 

$55/hr max

 

This requisition is for five technical leads for Informatica PowerCenter v9 Developers and two technical leads for Informatica PowerCenter v9.  

We're looking for someone who can do Informatica PowerCenter v9 coding and ETL.  They must understand XML and corresponding XSDÂ's.  They should have broader data mart and data warehouse design skills.  They must understand dimensional modeling.  This candidate will need to analyze data, help design the data model for the data mart, document the data definitions and Informatica mappings, as well as code the mappings.  A working knowledge of Informatica DT Studio would be  desired.

--Required Skills--
1.   Expert Informatica PowerCenter v9 Developer
2.   Excellent Informatica Technical Lead experience.
3.   Extremely knowledgeable Informatica PowerCenter v9 (Strong
     Informatica Mapping)
4.   Extremely proficient in SQL development
5.   Extremely proficient in using XML
6.   Extremely proficient in designing data warehouse and data marts
7.   Extremely proficient in data analysis and problem solving
8.   Ability to document designs and clearly communicate alternatives
9.   Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
10.   Understanding of the differences and similarities between Inmon
     and Kimball
11. Understanding of Data Warehouse CDC (ChangeDataCapture)
     processing and challenges
12. Demonstrated modeling skills in 3rd Normal form and dimensional
     techniques
13. Excellent communication skills a must 14. Team player 15. Self-starter with good work ethic
