Location: Torrance, CA

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Required Skills:

• General consulting skills including: analysis and problem solving, written and verbal communication, and team collaboration

• Experience in full life-cycle of software development or methodology such as RUP or Agile; requirements analysis, design, development, testing and implementation

• Experience leading and managing small teams of developers

• Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support

• Strong Communication Skills

• Experience doing Object Oriented Analysis and Design, using Domain Driven Design, and Design Patterns

• 4+ years of experience Java SDK development & J2EE development experience

• 4+ years of experience with Java application servers (Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss)

• 4+ years of experience with software design patterns and J2EE components (JMS, EJB, JSP, JSF)

• 3+ years of experience with an MVC framework such as Struts, Spring MVC, or JSF

• 3+ years of experience with an ORM framework such as Hibernate, JPA, or iBATIS

• 4+ years of experience with relational database design, SQL and Oracle 10g database

• 3+ years of experience with SOAP and RESTful web services and SOA concepts

• Design level experience and solutions incorporating Java, JPA/Hibernate, JMS, Web Services, Web Applications, HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript and jQuery

• 4+ years of experience using a development environment such as Eclipse, Netbeans, JDeveloper

• Bachelor's Degree Required B35

 

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Web 2.0 concepts and technologies (AJAX, Flex, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, etc.)

• Experience with tools like Maven, ANT, CVS, SVN, AntHillPro, Git

• Experience with Apache Web server, Tomcat

• Experience with Basic understanding of ERDs

• Experience with JAXB, JAX-RS, JAX-WS

• Experience with Java based Portals (Liferay, WebCenter, IBM Portal etc.)

• Experience with Mobile Application Development for iOS or Android Platforms
