Job Title: Linux SUSE Administrator

Location -  Plano, TX

Duration – 9-12 Months

 

Job Description:

================================================================================================

·         SUSE Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and administering Linux SUSE servers. 

·         Excellent knowledge of Linux Operating System, Linux kernels, security and Linux network sockets

·         Experience with Linux OS patching preferred

·         Knowledge of Linux hardware driver layer

·         Advanced Shell scripting skills (bash/ksh) to automate patch installs and configurations

·         Solid understanding of Awk and Sed

·         Solid understanding of Linux X-server and touch screen configuration

·         Solid understanding of Linux Desktop kiosk configurations for KDE, Firefox, and Open Office

·         Ability to work effectively independently or with a team

·         Good verbal communication skills (English)
