selected will be responsible for providing 3rd level support (defect management) or work as a Project Analyst for the Cisco Telephony Products and services supported by C02251 Voice Telecommunication Services. FT network performance analyst

This opening is for a FT network performance analyst on DC6.  A network performance analyst will ensure that the capacity and performance of the enterprise network meets business partner needs by analyzing and reporting on trending data to identify threshold violations, degradation, prolonged spikes, or other key network performance metrics.  Network Performance also analyzes networked applications at the protocol level to assess their performance and how they impact the State Farm infrastructure.  The overall objective is to ensure the network infrastructure in use at State Farm is properly sized and tuned to provide our business partners with needed capacity and acceptable performance, as agreed upon within the business partners' Service Level Agreements (SLA).

 

Skills and Expertise:

        ·         Packet analysis using tools such as OPNET IT Guru, Sniffer, Wireshark

The primary tasks include:

·         Participate in performance testing of networked applications to determine if they meet the performance requirements of the customer.
