Designation HP Business Availability Center (BAC) – BAC Specialist / SME (Subject Matter Expert)

• Good soft skills for written/oral communication with client.

• A minimal of 3-6 years of related experience in Solution design, planning and monitoring systems.

• Able to work independently, own responsibility.

• Analytic ability in order to research technical issues and generate creative/innovative solutions.

Experience: 3 - 6 years of experience

Description:

 Understanding the Monitoring objectivesØ

 BACØ specialist with significant enterprise deployment experience to deliver high profile projects at client sites.

 Candidate must have at least threeØ years hands-on experiences in administering, integrating, developing and supporting these products.

 Understand the Application functionality,Ø architecture details and components metrics along with workload characterization.

 Creation of monitors in Sitescope depends on client requirement.

 Monitoring the applicationØ server and database server parameters.

 Monitoring the servers usingØ Sitescope

 Handling Outage calls and resolving the issues.Ø

 Co- ordination with the vendors and the customers forØ various configurations.

 Expertise on BAC Suite. This includes theØ Dashboard, , SAM/Sitescope.

 Excellent knowledge of Windows,Ø UNIX and network device Administration.

 Knowledge on databases (Oracle,Ø MS SQL etc)

 Strong skills working in a remote teamØ

Ø Experience in administration of BAC products mentioned below:

- SiteScope

 Experience inØ administration of SiteScope, BAC

 System Administration experience in AIX,Ø Linux and Microsoft Windows systems environments

 • Should have worked as a part of a team involved in the implementation of the above modules for application performance monitoring in at least 2 live projects in a fairly complex IT setup.

• Hands-on implementation exposure to the following HP Software modules is required:

1. HP Business Availability Center (BAC)

2. Site Scope

3. Dashboard

• Excellent technical documentation experience - writing samples are required.

• Outsourcing delivery experience

• Aware of flow of ITIL Processes and functions.

• Recommends technology solutions that improve operation standards and lowers operations costs.

• Knowledge in other OS types (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux , AS400, OS390)

• Have a proven high level of dedication and commitment.
