Description: 

·        Guidewire Claim Center Integration Developer experience required

·        Guidewire Claim Center Integration
Experienced Technologist, Software Development to develop system solutions using approved technologies aligned with technical architecture, business plan & long term strategy.

Responsibilities include:
• Make recommendations to improve process efficiency & effectiveness.
• Provide input to architectural designs to ensure consistency, security, maintainability & flexibility with respect to overall system, technical & product architectures;
• Analyze system, technical & product issues to develop strategic systems direction;
• Research business & IT trends to define technical direction within financial portfolio;
• Guide development of system, technical & product standards based on business plan & vision;
• Research & make recommendations for new technologies;
• Define architecture strategy for financial systems and define the applications migration plans;
• Act as architecture consultant for IT & business management;
• Plan & manage execution of architecture migrations including retirements & new technology introduction;
• Maintain strategic partnerships between vendors, business partners, & IT;
• Deliver artifacts, technical alternative documents & architectural designs that meet business requirements;
• Oversee design reviews & frameworks.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field plus 7 years experience in software development to include the following:
o 5 years experience with application architecture designing solutions in complex, multi-tiered application systems;
o 5 years experience as architecture & development leader on web/OLTP & batch processing based development projects implementing insurance solutions;
o 5 years experience in Walker Financial products (from Elevon), specifically Accounts Receivable & Billing modules, & Web self-service tools;
o 3 years experience in solution architecture work related to legacy/mainframe systems projects & retirement of legacy systems;
o 3 years experience with the following technologies & tools is required: IBM Mainframe technologies - COBOL, CICS, DB2, CICS Web Interface;
o SQL, Java, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Web services, IBM Web sphere Process Server, Monitoring tools -Main view (CA), Strobe (Compuware) & Introscope (CA), SOA concepts, business architecture concepts & application design patterns, & Enterprise Relational Database concepts;
o 2 years experience leading software development projects
