Job Title	:	Oracle Administrator / SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Location	:	CARY, North Carolina
Duration	:	6 Months
Job Description	:	REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES  Polished and articulate IT Professional with strong middleware and related infrastructure experience  Experience in administration and operational support for Oracle WebCenter Suite PS3 and above using Fusion Middleware Control  Experience administering and installing WebLogic Server in a clustered and high-availability environment  Experience in deploying and troubleshooting J2EE, ADF-based applications, spaces and web services  Experience in developing and executing WLST scripts to automate common tasks including domain configuration and application deployments  Adept at managing end-to-end web infrastructures with various web technologies, including Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA suite, Oracle Service Bus), Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, IIS running on Windows or Linux/Solaris based environments  Experienced in working with third party applications and well-versed in integration with traditional JVMs  Possess extensive experience with various third party vendor tools  Intermediate Oracle and SQL Server database support experience including troubleshooting and data analysis  Analytical problem solving skills with ability to identify pragmatic solutions to complex business and commercial problems  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with customers and Quintiles staff at all levels  Strong presentation, consulting and documentation skills as well as a strong sense of ownership and commitment.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients  Ability to understand the "big picture" and to identify and resolve key issues  Overall experience:  8+ years IT/Sys Administration  4 years of solid Oracle Web Center experience  8+ years in Software Development and systems integration, preferably in large scale enterprise projects  Demonstrable track record of deploying and managing Oracle WebLogic Enterprise applications in a regulated industry, both within an organization and externally to maximize business value from technology investments
