Position: Sr Database Programmer
Location: Dallas, TX.
Duration: 5 months +
Interview: Phone Screen preference given to candidates that can attend an in person interview.
· The Senior Database Programmer Level demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the in all of the basic database development of creating PL/SQL and SQL coding.
· Plans projects and oversees the operational aspects of a data warehouse implementation and maintenance.
· Screens requests for services, determines general customer requirements, develops and evaluates alternative solutions and functional specifications, and develops data migration/conversion plans and procedures.
· Provides training to less-experienced staff. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of progressive experience in database development using specialized languages or any combination of pertinent education and experience.
NOTE: The client will always prefer someone located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area but will look at candidates that would be willing to attend a face to face interview if required by the manager. Every manager at this client is different and I'm not sure if the face to face is absolutely necessary yet.
