Role: VB.NET Developer

Location: Kansas City, MO

Duration: Long Term

 

Visual Studio 2008+, Umbraco CMS, JavaScript, extJS 3 & 4, jQuery, AJAX, SQL Server 2005+, Apple iOS, Team Oriented Agile Methods (SCRUM), TFS, VB.net

 

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a "self-managed" team to deliver software that delights our customers.
• Help our team keep existing application systems running smoothly.
• Effectively respond to a changing environment.
• Collaborate with our customers and other technology professionals at all levels.
• Provide critical thinking on how we can constantly improve our technology, delivery and user experience. 

 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of programming experience with preference given to those with team lead positions
• A passion for making high quality, innovative software solutions
• Solid and proven experience application development and leadership
• Strong background in object oriented programing, JavaScript
• Web page lifecycle understanding including web client side interaction, including multi-browser support needs
• Web Design experience desired a plus
• Experience with Agile Methods (XP, SCRUM, Kanban, etc…) a plus
• Ability, in a team environment, to consistently deliver high quality software.
• Effective team player with at ability to problem solve complex problems
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience using Visual Studio 2008+
