Job Title : Oracle DBA
Hourly Rate (Max) : $45/-hr on c2c
Brief Description : Below Skills are expected for this role
1) Capacity Planning
2) Migrating Schemas/Databases using Data Pump, RMAN Cloning etc
3) APEX Administration
4) DR Setup using data guard. Checking for DR Sync up.
5) Conducting DR Drills.
6) Database Installation / Patching / Upgrades
7) RAC Installation
8) Performance Tuning
9) Backup and Recovery
10) OEM Set up and Monitoring
Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 8+ years
Technical/Functional Skills : Qualification:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
-At least 8 years software Database Admin experience required in Operational Data Store/ Operational Data Warehouse environment
- At least 5 years Oracle 10g/11g and SQL experience required.
- At least 2 years Oracle 11g RAC and ASM experience required.
- At least 5 years of Unix Shell Scripting experience required
- Financial services experience a plus
Experience Required 8+
Roles & Responsibilities : Plans, architects, designs, analyzes, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirements for large, complex projects
• Provide technical leadership for large and complex projects
• Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members
• Participate in design reviews and provide alternatives
• Conduct code reviews and make sure quality solutions are built and best practices/standards have been followed
• Troubleshoot systems production/performance issues under tight deadlines
• Coordinate with development resources across both onsite and offshore locations
Generic Managerial Skills : Good inter personal skills in managing clients and offshore team (If any).
Work Location :- Columbus, Ohio
Duration :- 8 months (can be extended)
