Job description:

 

Data extracts

·         Data extract is at invoice level from Jan 2010 to YTD for US-CAN and EMEA and comprises of multiple fields including invoice fields, customer database, product database

·         Mapping of invoice level data to master table in Access DB

·         Entire process can be automated with a  live ODBC link from Access DB to the datawarehouses in US-CAN and EMEA

·         The other data extract is current pricing (customer/product level) with surcharges which are combined with the invoice data

 

Reporting functionality

·         There are several queries and filters in Access DB which helps me pick the filters dynamically and slice the data. Some of the reporting functionality include

o   Snapshot analysis based on time period

o   Price index plots

o   Plotting capability(trending)

o   YOY analysis, etc

 

Advanced analytics/ simulations

·         Pricing simulations (ability to change price and see impact)

·         Margin bridge analysis

·         Pricing index
