Job Title:QA HealthCare
Location:Bloomington, MN
Duration:6+ months
Client has a contract QA Analyst need to work on a 6 month position within our Product Marketing; Sales Systems department. This position will work a project relating to CARS which is our Consumer Acquisition Retention System. This position will include quality assurance testing focused on defect prevention, identification, analysis, and removal through proven quality assurance techniques.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Responsible for quality assurance on medium to large sized projects
2. Specify approach and strategy to test products and deliverables with minimal supervision.
3. Review functional specifications, gather business information, gaining knowledge of what to test, identify missing, incomplete or redundant requirements and/or information.
4. Document test scenarios and conditions and set-up data
5. Executes tests, ensure test data integrity, verify test results against requirements, test cases and documents discrepancies.
6. Conducts quality assurance reviews of test case specifications.
7. Ensures that testing standards are met.
8. Creates documentation and reports showing test results and detect trends.
9. Maintains and improves testing methodology.
10. Works with customers/business partners to develop test strategies and negotiate approvals
11. Coordinate testing issues and results with development team, vendor and business users.
12. Gathering business information, gaining knowledge of what to test, identify missing, incomplete or redundant information and requirements review functional specifications.
13. Maintains the test environment, assures stability in the test environment.
14. Conducts assessments of testing methods and tools.
15. Trains customer/business partner on testing methods and techniques.
16. Trains other project team members and other staff on testing methods and techniques.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, Business Administration or equivalent.
2. 5+ years experience an in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures
3. Experience with the full software development life cycle.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
5. Able to effectively balance priorities in a rapid-paced and fluid environment
6. Capable of understanding healthcare and health promotion concepts
7. Capable of clearly communicating complex issues to technical or non-technical personnel
8. Able to work and communicate effectively in a fast-moving, agile product development environment
9. Proficient in SQL and database concepts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 3+ years experience of extensive web applications testing
2. Healthcare experience is preferred
