Job Description:
Client seeks a Project Manager to join our team in Rensselaer, New York.
Requested skills include:
- Bachelor's degree (Information Technology, Management, or Business-related field).
- 6 years experience working with Executive and/or Senior Management developing the Advance Planning Document Update (ADPU) document supporting the Agency's Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) reporting requirement submission to the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) (a division within the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)). Activities should include but not limited to the following:
- A minimum of seventy two (72) months experience providing written responses/input key sections of the APDU draft response document included but not limited to:
- Project Organization Structure and Governance
- Project Status update
- Plans and Schedules
- 3 years experience working with Executive and/or Senior Management developing the Advance Planning Document Update (ADPU) document supporting the Agency's Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) reporting requirement submission
to the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) (a division within the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)).
Activities should include but not limited to the following:
- A minimum of thirty six (36) months experience creating, maintaining, and managing APDU response project schedules
- A minimum of thirty six (36) months assisting in managing and coordination of ADPU draft responses for each of the required
chapters and appendices.
- 4 years experience working with Executive Management as a member of a Project Management Office (PMO):
- Experience should include the creation of a "new" Project Management Office
- 7 years experience overseeing medium to large scaled information technology projects comprised of sub-projects and distinct deliverables.
- Developing workflow plans to navigate the project from project initiation through the various System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases to implementation.
- Managing the day-to-day activities of multiple System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases of the project.
- Assigned in a supervisory role coordinating efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
- 7 years experience in project tracking, risk and issue tracking, status reporting, quality assurance, change control, and certification of deliverables in a 3-tier client server development environment:
- Addressing deployment and rollback activities between the application development, database, technical and program organizations.
- Proficient in the use of, but not limited to, the following project management tools; MS Project, MS Project Central/Project Server, MS Office.
- 1.5 yearsexperience working in a Microsoft Project Central/Project Server environment with project team members utilizing this solution during the project System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
