Position Title: Senior Oracle Apps Developer Location : Yarmouth, Maine (just outside of Portland, ME) Duration : Long Term General Summary: The client is looking for a Senior Oracle Techno-Functional Analyst that can develop for the web environment as well as the database and PL/SQL. They want somebody who has experience with not only the functional environment but also with the technical stack, the database schemas, the self-service apps and the web interfaces for Oracle Applications. They should be as comfortable writing Java as they are SQL queries and be able to translate that knowledge into clear and concise project requirements, plans, and summaries that are communicated to both client groups and management. They should also be a self-starter and be able to own all phases of the project analysis, design, development and roll-out. Skills/knowledge/abilities required: · Minimum five (5) years of development experience with Java, JSP and Java Web Services in an Oracle Applications environment. This should include development using distributed transaction communication protocols (i.e. SOAP, JSON, XML). · Minimum five (5) years of Functional and Technical experience with Oracle Applications. This must include Financial/Sub-Ledger accounting, Manufacturing, Inventory, CRM, Order Management and Workflow in both an R11 and R12 environment. · Experience with the self-service Oracle Applications modules (iService, iReceivables, iStore). · Minimum ten (10) years of experience with relational database development, SQL and procedural programming in PL/SQL. · Strong analytical and problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills · Working knowledge of the UNIX environment, shells and scripting. · Experience with systems analysis, project development using a structured methodology and configuration management. · Bachelor degree in information technology / computer science (or a related field) and at least ten (10) years programming and system analysis experience. · Experience in the support and upgrade of business, accounting and financial systems at a small to mid-sized organization. · A high degree of tact, diplomacy and professionalism, particularly when representing the department to outside parties or other departments.
