SQL Programmer with Data Analysis Experience Irving, TX Position Summary The Programmer Analyst provides data management and reporting support for financial, human capital and operational systems. He/she ensures the successful transmission of data from both internal and external systems, validation of the received data and accurate processing of the data into the target systems. The Analyst establishes controls to ensure the validity of the data and develops processes to automate these tasks. The Analyst builds databases, develops reports and creates the underlying processes to extract, transform and load the data as required to deliver the required information. The Analyst works with data in varying formats, including X12 EDI, XML, CSV, XLS and RDBMS. This position requires strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis, generation of reports and ad hoc queries, as well as experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later, Integration Services and Reporting Services. General knowledge of accounting, payroll, financial and retail systems is a plus. Job Tasks and Responsibilities · SQL developer with Strong SSIS Development skills. This is purely a back end development work. · need to posses strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis. · need to have an ability to solve complex queries, stored procedures and know how to join things. · need to be able to reconcile all incoming and outgoing data and ensure the source and destination data ties out. They need be able to identify why data is missing and fix it. · Good to know VB.net/C#. Job Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, or four plus years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience · Minimum of 3 years of hands-on SQL programming, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services · Ability to write complex, multi-statement T-SQL queries and develop stored procedures · Strong data analysis, data profiling and data quality troubleshooting skills · Excellent communication skills -both verbal and written · Strong project management and people skills · Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey a positive and professional image in person, on the telephone, and in correspondence · Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills are essential · Requires the ability to read and interpret written information and effectively communicate verbally and in writing · Must be able to work a flexible work schedule due to operational support requirements · Must be able to sit at a workstation for long periods of time · Ability to work equally well independently and as part of a team · Excellent attention to detail, organization, planning, and follow-through · Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously · Ability to work long and irregular hours when needed · Additional skills that are beneficial but not required: o Largescale restaurant / retail transactional databases and data warehouses o Scripting or programming languages such as VBScript, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET o Microsoft Dynamics GP, eConnect o X12 EDI file mapping and manipulation, specifically with supply chain Please send us the following information along with updated resume:
