Job Summary:

The Senior PeopleSoft Integration Specialist will analyze business requirements, design, implement, and test PeopleSoft integration solutions using software integration tools and techniques based on best practices.

 

Required Experience and Skills:

• Experienced Senior PeopleSoft Integration specialist with 10 years of technical development experience using PeopleTools in the HCM/CRM area, strong background in integrating PeopleSoft with legacy and third party systems
• PeopleSoft HCM Development 9.1 experience (HR, Benefits, Payroll, MSS, ESS, HR-Help Desk- a plus)
• Extensive experience with integration system design, requirements definition, testing, risk assessment, and task management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of the system development life cycle, from planning, requirements analysis, systems design, development, testing, deployment, and support of PeopleSoft applications
• Ability to write maintainable application code which effectively and efficiently implements business requirements
• Strong analytical and written and verbal communication skills
• Required technical skills: PeopleSoft HCM/CRM 9.1, PeopleTools 8.52, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, Web Services, DataMover, Application Engine, SQL, SOAP, JMS, XML, SQL
• Other desired skills: Java, .Net, TIBCO, Informatica, UNIX, SFTP, Encryption

 

Responsibilities:

• Participates in all phases of the system development life cycle to implement PeopleSoft integration solutions
• Works closely with PeopleSoft and external system stakeholders to gather and streamline requirements accurately and transform them into design documents and code; act as a liaison between the business and IT teams
• Conducts design and decision discussions
• Recommends optimal solutions after evaluating alternatives that meet business requirements and constraints
• Develops and maintains web-services, flat-file, and real-time integrations
• Participates in providing gap analysis, from a technical perspective, highlighting current state, future state, business needs, and best practices
• Mentors and trains developers
• Develops and assesses test plans
• Reviews and drafts functional and technical documents
