Job Description:

 

Business Analyst for tasks related to Enterprise-wide Master Data Management project and associated Enterprise Vocabulary Management project.

 

Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:

 

1. The Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely with the project manager, core technical team members and other project stakeholders and providing leadership throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

2. The Business Analyst will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate the requirements for complex changes to current business processes, policies and information systems and for the development of new business processes, policies and information systems.

3. The Business Analyst will interact with cross functional teams (Application, Technology, and Enterprise Solution) and staff to ensure requirements are thoroughly and accurately documented and to design and document recommendations for improved business processes that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

 

Mandatory Requirement:

 

Manages small to medium-scale business analysis work or projects with distinct deliverables to a solution.

Candidates should have at least 84 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:

 

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
• Demonstrated experience as a senior Business Analyst in at least one MDM implementation involving data contained in Patient Medical Records, Employee Records and Healthcare Provider Records in a State Agency, Federal Agency or Private Organization.
• Demonstrated experience with specifying requirements for Master Data Management and/or Healthcare Information Exchanges.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD sessions, conducting stakeholder interviews, focus groups and workshops then analyzing the stakeholder's business needs and converting those into functional requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in software requirements management including requirements elicitation, analysis, and validation.
• Demonstrated experience in performing Business Process Modeling, Gap Analysis, Process Improvement, and Re-engineering on Medium to Large-scale IT projects, describing the As-Is and To-Be business processes.
• Demonstrated experience in writing Use Cases/User Stories, Business Requirement Document (BRD), Software Requirement Specification (SRS), Business Rules, Traceability Matrix and Work Flow Diagrams.
• Demonstrated experience in User Acceptance Testing ( UAT), developing test scripts, test cases and documenting key content deliverables.
•  Demonstrated experience in working multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating closely with project manager identifying and managing project scope, project schedule , and communicating project status to project manager, team members and other stakeholders.
• Designing Crystal Reports and invoking them from web based applications.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing end user presentations, training materials & user manuals with high degree of proficiency using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
