| | · More than 7years of IT Experience in Data Warehousing, Database Design and ETL Processes in the Test and Production environments of various business domains like finance, manufacturing and Insurance domain
· Worked extensively on ETL process using Informatica Power Center8.x/7.x/6.x. · Experience in Database Development, Data Warehousing, Design and Technical Management. · Good understanding in database and data warehousing concepts (OLTP & OLAP). · Good knowledge in Normalizing and De-normalizing the tables and maintaining Referential Integrity by using Triggers and Primary and Foreign Keys. In-depth understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concept · Proficient in RDBDMS Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access. · Proficient in all major UNIX, and WINDOWS-based applications. · Experience with SAP Power Center adapter. · Strong experience with DB2, UDB, DB2 zOS, SQL Server, VSAM, ISAM and IAM. · · Understanding of Ralph Kimball approach and experience in Dimensional data modeling, Star schema modeling, Snow-Flake modeling, identification of fact and dimension tables, Normalization, Physical and Logical data Modeling using Erwin 4.5/4. · Experience in creating transformations, mapplets and mappings using Informatica Designer and sessions and tasks using Workflow Manager to move data from multiple sources into targets. · Experience in development on a Teradata or Netezza platform, Teradata. · Worked with different data sources like Flat files, XML files, and other relational and non-relational databases. · Knowledge of Informatica 8.1.1 administration and installing Power Center Server ,Power Center Client, Creating and Configuring Services, Power Center Repository Service administration, Managing domain folders, users, permissions and logs, Repository Management, Repository Security and Folder Setup. · Experience in writing, testing, and implementation of the Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers using Oracle PL/SQL. · Moderate ETL complexity (some work already done) · Moving data from SalesForce.com to Data Warehouse (with Informatica)with experience using SalesForce connector in INFA. · Abinitio and Cognos knowledge. · Experience with PeopleSoft ABM. · Experience with Informatica IDQ and/or name matching processes · Knowledge of OBIEE - DAC · Participated in agile product life cycle development of Data Warehouse systems such as Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Technical Documentation and Object Oriented Design & Analysis. Stupendous experience in Developing Mappings, Mapplets and Transformations like Lookup, Router, Aggregator, Normalizer, Source Qualifier, Joiner, Expression, Update Strategy, etc. between Source and Target using Informatica Power Center Designer. · Excellent analytical, logical programming skills with a good understanding at conceptual level and possess excellent presentation, interpersonal skills with a strong desire to achieve specified goals.
